We are at the end of our first month of 2022 and giving February a big heartfelt welcome with our Underground Dining Club dinner that will be on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022. By popular demand we have beautiful Kelly Billey from Prime Distributors joining us once again and presenting us with a wonderful line up of Wines from Portugal - FitaPreta Family. This wine pairing dinner is not to be missed! Six great wines paired in 6 courses that capture the essence of Portugal.
FitaPreta is Antonio Macanita's estate winery located outside the ancient Roman city of Evora, set among the sun-drenched hills of Alentejo. Founded in 2004 as a partnership between Antonio and the British viticulturist David Booth, FitaPrteta has since evolved into a benchmark estate for the New Portugal, frequently earning Antonio accolades like "Winemaker of the Year". Antonio operates on the Portuguese idea of "Palpite", or intuition, to communicate terrier, with a foot firmly planted in both camps of tradition and modernity.
